North Hennepin Community College, also known as NHCC, was founded in 1966, is one of the largest and most diverse community colleges in Minnesota. It is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, the fifth largest system of higher education in the United States. It is located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Jessie Ventura - The 38th Governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003. He was the first and only member of the Reform Party to win a major government position, but later joined the Independence Party of Minnesota.
